Bass Pro Shops is hiring a part-time Greeter for our Springfield, MO Outdoor World location. The role focuses on greeting customers, promoting programs, and ensuring a welcoming front-end experience.

The Greeter provides information and direction, distributes promotional materials, and supports front-end operations while maintaining a friendly, professional appearance and adherence to dress code.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation and initiative when unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Model brand standards by adhering to dress code with Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s shirts, badge visible.
• Check in customers’ merchandise for returns and check in vendor representatives.
• Inform customers about events, sales, or promotions and distribute promotional materials.
• Keep entryway and surrounding area clean, tidy, and safe for customers and Outfitters.
• Assist with customer check-in of firearms/weapons by notifying the appropriate outfitter; greeters should not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
