Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Front Desk Arrival Coordination in Los Angeles, CA. You will staff the front desk, greet visitors, monitor access, and support security procedures in an educational setting.

This role also involves welcoming students, staff, and guests while ensuring a safe, professional environment. The position offers flexible DayTime and Weekend shifts, a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth within a large, values-driven security

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Staff the front desk in an educational location, greet and direct visitors, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor authorization, and issue or collect visitor credentials.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain logs, records, and communications related to visitors, deliveries, access activity, and security-related concerns.
