Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Visitor Management in Voorhees, NJ. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, and manage access at a technology/telecom location, while maintaining a safe, professional front desk environment.

Role requires strong customer service, basic computer use, and ability to respond calmly to incidents. Pay is $19.35 per hour with a flexible day schedule and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems, report anomalies and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and escalate when needed.
• Support a professional front-desk environment with directions and inquiries.
