Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Reception Support in Carmel, IN. You will serve as the welcoming presence at a financial institution’s front desk, manage access procedures, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, with a pay rate of $18.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify IDs and appointment info, issue visitor credentials, keep logs.
• Monitor lobby access and direct guests to appropriate departments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Document front-desk activities and report unusual conditions.
