Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at a financial institution in Carmel, IN to serve as the welcoming presence and safeguard employees and visitors. You will manage access, verify IDs, greet guests, and maintain visitor logs while upholding security procedures.

The role offers a flexible DayTime schedule with weekend shifts, a pay rate of $18.54 per hour, and opportunities for growth within a dynamic security team. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other designated entry points, deter unauthorized access, and direct guests to appropriate departments or personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activities, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and complete required reports and documentation.
