Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Flex Office in Owings Mills, MD. This role offers reliable, anchored hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, supporting a path toward a larger schedule up to 40 hours weekly.

Pay starts at $17.70 per hour with a fixed shift and a program to earn more shifts. The position emphasizes professional customer service, access control, and incident response at a financial services site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a financial services location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor identification, following site-specific entry procedures, and issuing visitor credentials as applicable.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and support sign-in, sign-out, and notification processes in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Support security-related procedures by observing the lobby area, reporting unusual activity or concerns, and assisting with emergency response activities.
