Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the corporate office lobby in Owings Mills, MD. You will greet employees, visitors and vendors, monitor access, and help maintain a welcoming, professional environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, effective communication, and adherence to security procedures. You will handle logs, incidents, and coordinate with the security team to ensure a safe site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Greet employees, visitors and vendors at front desk and assist with access procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor IDs and authorization, and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond calmly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures.
• Receive and direct calls, deliveries, and inquiries while protecting confidential information.
• Communicate concerns and unusual activity to site contacts and leadership.
