Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Access Control in Owings Mills, MD to provide reliable security services at a designated site. The role offers flexible shifts, with focused hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position requires at least two years in security, basic computer use, and a high school diploma. It includes a pay rate of $17.70 per hour and a path toward potential full-time opportunities within the company.

Competenze

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry records, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate access-control documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
