Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet employees, visitors and vendors at front desk and assist with access procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor IDs and authorization, and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond calmly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures.
• Receive and direct calls, deliveries, and inquiries while protecting confidential information.
• Communicate concerns and unusual activity to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a financial services location and assisting with site access procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Receive and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining a professional front-desk presence and protecting confidential information.
• Communicate observed concerns, access issues, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
