Allied Universal in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer Flex Office to provide front-desk service at a financial services location, with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings. The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and basic computer or tablet skills.

Pay is $17.70 per hour, with a day schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a financial services location.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor identification and issuing credentials.
Maintain visitor logs and support sign-in/sign-out and notification processes.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel.
Support security procedures by observing the lobby area and assisting with emergency response.
