Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at the Linthicum Heights location. You will greet visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and maintain a secure front desk environment within an aerospace/defense facility.

The role requires at least 1 year in security, a DoD Secret Clearance if applicable, and passing a background check and drug screen. Scheduling includes Daytime shifts and evenings, with a competitive hourly pay rate of $23.19.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• State, county or city security license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background check per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace/defense location while following site security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-ins and badge processes per protocol.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and other required documentation; handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and coordinate appropriate response actions.
