Job summary

Allied Universal, Morristown, NJ, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Reception Credential Desk to welcome visitors, manage access control, and support a secure healthcare setting.

The role focuses on front-desk procedures, incident response, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and guests. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred, and a background/drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor access records.
• Monitor entry activity and access points, report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts, and help deter security concerns at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with facility personnel or emergency services.
• Provide directions and general assistance to patients and visitors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
