Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor access records.
• Monitor entry activity and access points, report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts, and help deter security-related concerns at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Provide directions and general assistance to patients and visitors while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality in a healthcare setting.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor access records in accordance with facility procedures.
• Monitor entry activity and access points, report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts, and help to deter security-related concerns at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Provide directions and general assistance to patients and visitors while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
