Allied Universal in Somerset, NJ, is seeking a Security Officer (Afternoon) to welcome visitors, manage access control, and monitor alarm panels at a logistics location. You will provide exceptional customer service and maintain a secure environment while deterring security incidents.

Role focuses on front desk duties, badge issuance, and coordinating with site personnel. Requires 18+ or 21+ for armed roles, HS diploma, and background check; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and access controls.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify identifications, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor calls, deliveries, and visitor activity; coordinate with site personnel to direct guests and answer access-related questions.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures; report concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional reception area at a logistics and distribution location and deter unauthorized access.
