Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Front Desk Reception at our Long Branch, NJ location. You will greet visitors, control access, monitor lobby activity, and deliver excellent customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

Shifts are Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with pay at $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and clients at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor authorization, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
Answer phones, receive deliveries, maintain visitor logs, and provide general information in a professional manner.
Respond to security-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
Monitor lobby activity and access-control systems, report unusual activity, and deter unauthorized entry.
