Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, baton preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and education community members by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors, verify access, and direct guests per procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, visitor logs, and security systems; report concerns.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly following escalation and response protocols.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional environment while deterring unauthorized access.
