Job summary

The Crooked River Lodge in Michigan is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, and manage reservations. You will provide information on rooms, rates, and local amenities, and assist guests with special requests to ensure a smooth stay.

Responsibilities include coordinating with housekeeping, upselling services when appropriate, and offering dining and activity recommendations to guests. Prior hospitality experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or receptionist role preferred.
• Experience with hotel reservation software (Infor HMS or similar).
• Familiarity with travel planning sites (Booking.com, TripAdvisor) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in and check-out tasks accurately and promptly.
• Manage online and phone reservations and maintain guest records.
• Inform guests about rates, rooms, and hotel amenities; upsell services as appropriate.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guests.
• Assist guests with dining, transportation, and local activities; provide local recommendations.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
