Surry-Rural-Health-Center is hiring a part-time front desk receptionist to greet patients, verify insurance, and support visitors. You will check in/out appointments, answer calls, and help with scheduling and data entry.

Candidates must be fluent in English, have a high school diploma, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and available on weekends. Vaccination requirements apply as described.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to operate a computer/laptop.
• Vaccinations required: Flu & Covid-19.
• Weekend availability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors as they enter the office.
• Check in and out patients for appointments.
• Collect copays and balances from patients.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Answer phone calls and refer inquiries to the correct person.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Scan medical documents into patient charts.
• Return patient calls in a timely manner.
