Job summary

The Front Desk Host at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa provides warm, personalized service to guests during check-in and check-out in a busy seasonal environment. You will ensure smooth front desk operations and uphold the Dollywood standard of hospitality.

Core duties include data entry, light accounting, guest registration, and handling billing questions, along with answering calls, coordinating guest recreation, and maintaining a welcoming lobby with current local information.

Qualifications

• At least six months directly related front desk experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a typing test (score of 25 wpm or greater).
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon background screening and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests in a friendly, upbeat manner and assists with check-in/check-out.
• Enters data into computer and performs minor accounting functions.
• Registers guests for conference center/resort and handles billing questions.
• Answers and directs all incoming calls on the main switchboard promptly.
• Coordinates guest recreation and assists Conference Planning staff as needed.
• Maintains the front lobby area and keeps information brochures up to date.
• Maintains daily event information and posting of event sheets.
