Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher required; BSN or higher preferred.
• At least one year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Maryland RN license required with verification; multi-state compact license generally not accepted without Maryland license.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic nursing assessments and collect/ preserve evidence.
• Complete forensic photography and documentation.
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team in emergency, inpatient, and community settings.
• Potentially serve as a fact or expert witness in court proceedings.
