Mercy Health is seeking a Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide trauma-informed care across the lifespan. The role requires travel to various hospital facilities within the system to meet patient needs, with a focus on coordination of care and documentation.

The position supports professional nursing practice under ANA/IAFN standards and requires a BSN, active RN license, and willingness to work nights with travel as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state they are working or compact (required).
• BSN degree or higher.
• SANE/forensic nursing certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facilities within the system.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the lifespan.
• Administer medications per policies and standards of practice.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Maintain trauma-informed, ethical, and legally compliant documentation.
