The role includes forensic assessments, evidence collection, documentation, and potential testimony in court; requires Maryland RN licensure and ongoing certifications. 56 hrs biweekly with varied shifts; compensation reflects a competitive hourly rate.

Qualificações

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Maryland RN license required; active license in good standing.
• FNE credentials or forensic nurse examiner experience is preferred or required to obtain within 6 months.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform forensic nursing assessments across settings.
• Collect and preserve evidence and perform forensic photography.
• Document findings accurately and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Potentially serve as a fact or expert witness in court proceedings.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in continuing education.
