Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Forensic RN to deliver professional nursing care for patients affected by crime and trauma. The role requires a BSN, active RN license in the state or a compact license, and a minimum of two years RN experience across forensic and trauma settings.

Travel to multiple facilities within the system is expected, with emphasis on trauma-informed care, patient advocacy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (required).
• Current RN license in state you are working or covered by compact (required).
• 2 years of RN experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment with care planning.
• Administers medications safely as per policy and practice.
• Serves as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including medical, social services, and law enforcement.
• Maintains quality assurance through reviews and documentation in line with standards.
