Job summary

Chelsea Hospitality Group’s Morris Proper in Morristown is seeking a part-time hospitality teammate. You’ll deliver food and beverages to tables, run drinks from the service bar, know the menu, and coordinate with Expo, Bartenders, Captains, and Servers to ensure timely service.

We emphasize guest-focused hospitality, teamwork with front-of-house and kitchen, and flexibility to work Sundays and Mondays. Base pay is $6.05/hour plus tips, with benefits offered as part of CHG’s founding operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and announce each item to guests.
• Run drinks from the service bar promptly to align with courses.
• Know the menu, cocktail program, ingredients and allergens to answer questions.
• Communicate with Expo, Bartenders, Captains and Servers on timing and requests.
• Maintain a clean pass and service bar area; perform opening, running, and closing sidework.
• Follow alcohol service laws and house policies.
• Stay guest-focused and respond to feedback with care.
• Foster collaboration with front-of-house and kitchen teams to align on goals.

What You’ll Do

• Inspire Memorable Hospitality: Deliver food and beverages accurately to the correct table and seat position, announcing each item to guests
• Run drinks from the service bar promptly to keep beverage timing aligned with courses
• Know the menu, cocktail program, ingredients, and common allergens well enough to answer guest questions
• Communicate with Expo, Bartenders, Captains, and Servers on timing, modifications, and special requests
• Mark tables with proper silverware, glassware, and condiments before each course
• Clear plates and glassware between courses and support table resets
• Maintain a clean, organized pass and service bar area; complete opening, running, and closing sidework
• Follow all alcohol service laws and house policies
• Stay Guest-Focused: Work closely with your management team to stay connected to guest feedback. Look for every opportunity to enhance the guest experience and resolve concerns with care
• Partner with the Restaurant: Build a strong, collaborative relationship with both the front-of-house management and kitchen teams, ensuring alignment on all business goals and initiatives. Effective communication ensures food arrives to the guest timely and in perfect condition.

Requirements
