Job summary

Shadow Hills Golf Club in Indio, CA seeks a Part-Time Expeditor to join Troon’s hospitality team. You will match order tickets with kitchen items, ensure neat presentation, and help deliver timely meals to guests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong multitasking and guest-service skills, and knowledge of POS systems. ServSafe or TIPS certification is preferred. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Must be ServSafe Certification (Food & Alcohol & Food Allergy) or TIPS equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale applications helpful.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Matches order ticket with prepared food items and sides once completed by the kitchen line staff.
• Checks presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items.
• Monitors food quality and returns sub-standard items to the kitchen.
• Monitors ticket times and escalates delayed dishes to the Chef.
• Communicates with service staff to inform them of filled or returned orders.
• Supports front of house and team in all aspects of flawless food and beverage delivery.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
