Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to supervise guest dining and catering operations in our venue. This role assists the Food & Beverage Managers with training, inventory, and events, and requires flexibility for events.

The position pays an hourly rate of $26.00 - $29.00 and includes Part-Time benefits such as a 401(k) plan and matching. The posting remains open through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear, respectful communication with staff, management and guests.
• Team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven work style.
• Cash handling accuracy and responsible math for POS transactions.
• Basic math skills for transactions, inventory and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meal service to guests or guide guests through the buffet line as needed.
• Supervise beverage service, including alcoholic beverages, and verify guest identification to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements.
• Assist with recording guest orders and entering them into the kitchen through the POS system.
• Monitor guest tables to respond to additional requests and determine when meals are completed.
• Calculate meal totals, present checks to guests, process payments, and provide change when necessary.
• Ensure tableware and linens are replaced and maintained as needed throughout service.
• Recommend menu items, describe ingredients, and explain preparation methods to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Supervises the setup of banquet functions, including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Ensures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals
• Enforces all OVG policies and procedures.
• Assists the Management team with projects including training, inventory, and special events.
• All other duties as assigned by the managers.
