Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a Part-Time Flight Paramedic in Lubbock, TX. You will transport patients to facilities and perform scene call work with a dedicated air medical team.

Two 24-hour shifts per week, company-paid crew housing, and a $10,000 annual area stipend underscore a strong benefits package. A valid EMT-P license and FP-C within 24 months are required along with ongoing education and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight on time.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Keep licensure, certifications, and continuing education documentation up to date.
