Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans team is seeking a part-time Flight Paramedic in Texas. The role involves transporting patients and scene calls, with one 24-hour shift per week and company-paid crew housing.

Starting pay range $21.34-$40.99 per hour, plus an $11,000 annual area stipend, with safety and high standards as core values. Qualified candidates will hold EMT-P license and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts and safety procedures.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Keep licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety and procedures up to date.
