Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join a team of air medical transportation professionals. You will perform pre-hospital and intra-hospital care on dispatched flights, maintain documentation, and support safety standards.

The role requires at least three years in 911 or critical care, EMT-P license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). The position offers two 24-hour shifts weekly, a $7,000 annual area stipend, and company-provided crew housing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure/certifications and required safety documentation.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete documentation.
