Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is actively seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care, perform base checks, and ensure accurate patient care documentation for each dispatched flight.

The position requires a current EMT-P license, FP-C within 24 months of hire, and instructor certifications. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork supports our high standards in patient transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served by the area.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until handoff.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings and participate in pre-mission liftoff checklists.
