Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Crete, NE. This flexible role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts and earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment. The position supports access-control procedures, customer service to clients and visitors, and incident response at a food and beverage manufacturing location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor or contractor entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs and incident reports.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, exterior areas, and site perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
