Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Weekend Security Officer at our Crete, NE location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests at a food and beverage production site.

Position offers weekend night shifts (Sat/Sun 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. You will use computer systems to maintain access records and respond to security-related concerns while working with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and documenting entry.
• Respond to access-related incidents and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, perimeters and parking areas to deter misconduct.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and communicate shift information to leadership.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials as authorized, and following site access protocols.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and communicate observations, policy concerns, and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
