Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor/contractor entry.
• Maintain accurate access-related records, including visitor logs and incident reports, per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Part Time Flex in Crete, NE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and visitor or contractor entry requirements.
• Maintain accurate access‑related records, including visitor logs, contractor sign‑in documentation, and incident reports, in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, exterior areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
