Bass Pro Shops in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to manage counter sales and customer service for firearms and related hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide buying decisions with product knowledge and friendly service.

Responsibilities include completing 4473 forms, demonstrating firearms when appropriate, stocking the firearms area, and contributing to a great in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Understanding of ATF federal and state regulations.
• Customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition.
• Basic knowledge of GCA requirements.
• Able to maintain product knowledge through training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and friendly at the gun counter.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations accordingly.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC and in-store pickup.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers when needed.
• Organize and maintain merchandise in the firearms area.
• Replenish stock on shelves per merchandising guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean, neat and well stocked; follow all policies.
