Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue - Child Support Program is seeking a Financial Management Analyst in Tallahassee. The role focuses on fiscal and budgetary analysis, budget development, and grant management to support child support operations.

The position allows part-time telework after completion of training. Ideal candidates will have substantial government accounting or budgeting experience and advanced Excel/Word skills, plus a four-year degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in government accounting or budgeting.
• Two years of experience researching, analyzing, and evaluating complex issues to create reports with alternative recommendations.
• Five years of advanced, expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Four-year degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics (can substitute one year per degree year).
• Experience in Florida state government accounting or budgeting (preferred).
• Experience in cost accounting and/or cost allocation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs fiscal and budgetary analysis, budget development, and grant management.
• Analyzes financial procedures, solves complex problems, and provides consultation.
• Supports child support operations in Tallahassee in a dynamic environment.
