Job summary

Westat, Inc. seeks Field Interviewers to conduct MEPS interviews with adults in households, using in-person and computer-assisted methods. Travel to in-person training in January 2027 is required, with possible overnight travel and two yearly data collection periods.

This is a part-time, recurring role with flexible hours and duties including scheduling, interviewing, and submitting signed documents while maintaining data security.

Qualifications

• Must reside in project-designated areas and travel as needed.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Contact households in-person or by phone to introduce the study and gain cooperation.
• Schedule appointments, conduct interviews, and collect electronic and hard-copy documents.
• Transmit interview data daily and complete required administrative paperwork.
