Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to administer the MEPS survey in the United States. Interviewers will conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adults, travel to training sessions in January 2027, and potentially travel to households with some overnight stays.

The role is part-time with two data collection periods each year and daily data transmission. Applicants should be 18+, complete web-based training, and be able to meet physical requirements and travel as

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Attend mandatory in-person training beginning January 19, 2027 through January 25, 2027.
• Complete post-training home study between January 26 and January 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households in-person and by phone to set appointments and gain cooperation.
• Complete interviews and collect and transmit documents.
• Report to a field supervisor and submit administrative paperwork; transmit data daily.
