Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to evangelize and educate public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. You will participate in training and accompany students in a caring, gospel-centered classroom setting in Ohio.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of classroom teaching experience, active Christian faith, and regular church involvement. Responsibilities include lesson planning, student relationships, records, and ongoing collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with What We Believe.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance, class rosters, and health/permission records.
• Maintain an organized, inviting classroom and manage procedures for emergencies.
• Communicate with program director and school personnel and promote LifeWise mission.
