Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting, combining Bible knowledge with effective teaching to engage both churched and unchurched students. Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayers.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment and follow LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance and maintain accurate class rosters and materials for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know procedures for emergencies.
• Build relationships with volunteers and communicate schedule changes to staff.
• Submit regular updates, stories and photos to the program director and promote LifeWise's mission.
