Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with public school students. The role requires active church participation, strong communication, and caring, perceptive teaching of children.

You will complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, use the LifeWise curriculum, cultivate relationships with students, and coordinate with the program director to support student well-being and a redemptive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and be prepared for substitutes as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise's mission in duties and interactions
