Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students.
• Strong Christian faith and agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, health concerns, and permissions
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-ordered classroom and prepare substitutes as needed
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission
