Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a LifeWise teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing training, LifeWise certification within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes, building relationships with students, maintaining records, and promoting LifeWise's mission in all duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum.
• Plan lessons and adapt curriculum to students.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate with program director and school staff about schedules and student well-being.
