Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Create an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Maintain records: attendance, class rosters, health notes, and permissions.
• Maintain the classroom: cleanliness, safety procedures, and supplies.
• Communicate as LifeWise ambassador; attend outreach events and stay in touch with school staff.
• Provide updates, stories and photos to the program director; promote LifeWise mission.
