Job summary

Fortbend County is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker in Rosenberg, TX to ensure buildings and grounds are ready for functions at the fairgrounds. Duties include cleaning, operating machinery, mowing, and making repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, along with 6 months of job-related experience, and the ability to follow instructions and work with others effectively.

The salary ranges from $16.02 to $24.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6 months job-related experience required.
• Ability to deal effectively with other employees and the public.
• Understand detailed verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings including floors, tables, and kitchens.
• Operate tractor and forklift.
• Prepare buildings for functions at fairgrounds.
