George Mason University’s dynamic Human Resources team is looking for a passionate and innovative Faculty and Staff Engagement Assistant. This role is a key contributor to our people and culture strategy, responsible for administering and promoting reward, recognition, and other engagement initiatives to foster faculty and staff success.

Qualifications

• One to three years of administrative support experience.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with individuals at various levels.
• Experience supporting projects from start to finish and tracking deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and foster a supportive environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms).

Responsibilities

• Supports formal and informal reward and recognition programs and maintains information databases for rewards and recognition.
• Assists with scheduling and planning of team and university-wide events.
• Provides administrative support to performance evaluation, engagement, well-being, and flexible work programming.
• Schedules faculty/staff development programming in LEAPS.
• Prepares marketing and supplemental materials for engagement events and programming.
• Manages shared email boxes or ticketing systems for the Engagement team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
