YMCA SAN ANTONIO is seeking a part-time housekeeper to support the Y's mission in Boerne, TX. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance across assigned areas, with duties including mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, pool cleaning, and event setup as needed.

The position offers up to 15 hours per week, on-site work, and requires basic cleaning knowledge plus ability to follow safety procedures.

Formación

• Six months or more of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
• Certifications required within the first week of hire: Bloodborne Pathogens and Hazardous Communications.
• Certifications required within the first 60 days of hire: YMCA approved basic life saving skills such as CPR, First Aid, AED, and Emergency Oxygen.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment.
• Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed.
• Ensures YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• May set up furniture for events.
• Other duties as assigned.
