Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in facility management.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance for building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals.
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire; safety trainings annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and routine maintenance for HVAC, pool, lighting, and equipment.
• Ensure facilities, grounds, and equipment operate per preventative schedules.
• Identify and report malfunctions or emergencies.
• Maintain maintenance logs and cost estimates for renovations or space changes.
• Support skilled trades and interact with contractors for services and plans.
• Drive to multiple YMCA locations as needed and ensure safety standards.
