Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in janitorial work desired.
• Ability to accept supervision and instruction.
• Demonstrate ability to perform independently.
• Possess a positive attitude, and work well with others.
• Valid Driver's License and driving eligibility.
• Must pass Salvation Army background checks and MVR qualifications.
• Willingness to support Salvation Army mission.
• Safe From Harm training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of buildings and grounds according to standards.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, chapels, offices and common areas daily.
• Shovel snow and perform heavy cleaning as needed.
• Report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Prepare rooms for programs and arrange spaces as instructed.
• Keep janitorial supplies organized and restock as needed.
