Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness of the building and grounds at 1604 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55407. This is a temporary position offering about 28 hours per week with pay between $16.37 and $19 per hour.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and light maintenance. A HS diploma/ GED is preferred and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in janitorial work desired.
• Must pass background checks and meet driving qualifications.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of building and grounds daily.
• Clean restrooms, floors, and surfaces; empty trash.
• Assist with snow removal and basic maintenance tasks.
• Report safety hazards to supervisors.
