Description

The Facilities Coordinator is a vital position supporting the operation of the school. In this part-time role, you will assist with maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of the school building. The hours are approximately 3-4 hours daily. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager. This is a temporary position, expiring on August 12, 2025.

You Will

• Assist the Operations Manager with daily tasks such as cleaning shared spaces and performing small repairs;
• Maintain an up-to-date Food Handlers License;
• Maintain school grounds as needed;
• Coordinate with contracted cleaners, operations staff, and other facilities personnel to manage supplies;
• Ensure the gymnasium is cleaned and dusted weekly and as necessary;
• Keep bathrooms clean throughout the day and graffiti-free;
• Prepare for evening events across campuses, including trash removal, bathroom cleaning, and furniture setup;
• Assist with special projects as required;
• Participate actively in the school community and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility cleaning and maintenance;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods;
• Experience related to student welfare and safety, preferably in an educational setting;
